Kids Benefit:
The lunchroom staff teaches our children rules that help maintain order and safety in the lunchroom, all while providing a fun and social atmosphere. Parent volunteers help by:
- Making sure children are seated with comfortable spacing at each table.
- Providing napkins, straws, utensils, etc. (You even get to wear a cafeteria “tool” belt!)
- Reminding and helping children adhere to the posted rules.

You Benefit:
You’ll learn a lot by walking the lunchroom aisles, observing, and assisting the kids. You’ll meet entire grade levels of children, learn personalities, and get a good picture of your child’s peer group. Parents who want to be “in the know” volunteer in the lunchroom!
Time commitments are flexible – sign up for one or two days per week, or even every other week. Stay for one or two 30-minute intervals, or be a real trooper and stay for more. Please complete the form below, check the times when you can help, and return this form to your classroom teacher. You’ll receive confirmation of your time slots and a short procedures list.
